Am I crazy. Didn't he give up 5 earned runs over 7 plus innings (and is on the hook for a potential 6th run)? When did giving up 5 or more runs over 7 innings become standing ovation worthy?

Is this worthy of a post? Fans like to cheer their players! Its the nice thing to do! should they have booed him instead? no...maybe youre saying they should have just remained quiet? maybe, next time just cheer lukewarmly? i'll save this post for the next Yanks 2nd inning curtain call I have to suffer through ;)
